Topster is out with its Top 5 Bars’ list for Los Gatos. We were surprised The Cats Restaurant & Tavern made it to the No. 1 spot, not because it’s not a fantastic place for drinks, food and entertainment, but because it opened at the end of December. It was followed by all-time favoriteCarry Nations, Double D’s Sports Grille, The Boulevard Tavern and the now-closed Mountain Charley’s Saloon.

As we pointed out in the comments section of last week’s Topster list of coffee houses in Los Gatos, we’re using these entries to get the conversation going about our readers’ favorites.
